A journal for
eastern and western short forms

willow branch -
stretched out
arm over
the pond mirror
sickle moon –
the light
trickles from it
woodcocks crow
silver birch
leaves shake...
fly over
the pond scum
sun deeply
floats...
captured
by pondweeds
a crayfish
creeps out of
the pond…
droplets glisten
polluted water
lake…suspiciously alive
heaven’s butterfly
spreads its
slender wings over
deep anthill
crater
swings playing
hide-and-seek
with the sun
scratches on
my knees… flying
swing memories
grey morning
not a single
move
empty
swing
